Paws Colinas 5K-9 : event overview
The Paws Colinas 5K-9 is scheduled for October 24, 2026 at the Toyota Music Factory Plaza in Irving-Las Colinas, TX. The event is presented by the Las Colinas Association and benefits Irving Animal Services. The run/walk covers a 5K distance and follows a route with scenic views of the Las Colinas Urban Center. The event includes a post-race festival on the plaza for both human and canine participants.
The event offers in-person and virtual options and three main entry categories: Large Dog (over 25 lbs), Small Dog (under 25 lbs), and Human Only. Each participant may register to run with one dog. Dogs must be on a standard non-retractable leash no longer than 6 feet.
Registration, requirements and services
Registration includes race bib with timing chip, chip timing, free professional HD race photos, bag check, dog and human swag, finisher medals, food and beverage coupons, live music and entertainment, and awards for top finishers, age groups, and best dressed dogs. VIP packages add packet delivery and access to a private VIP area with reserved seating and additional amenities. A spectator pass option is available.
Packet pickup is scheduled the day before the race; the packet pickup location will be announced. Proof of current rabies vaccination is required for packet pickup and must be emailed to the organizer or brought in person.
