Pawpaw 10 Miler and 5 Miler
The event is a trail run and festival at Powhatan State Park in Powhatan, Virginia, near James River frontage. The course uses the park's exterior trails and mixes flat riverside sections, shaded singletrack, open reclaimed farm fields, and steeper climbs that lead to historic cabin ruins. The park opened in 2013 and includes almost 20 miles of trails and varied habitat for birds and other wildlife.

A water station is located near mile 5. Participants registered by 9/1 receive a gender specific short sleeve shirt. Food is available for purchase after the event from the Cafe at Maidens, with boxed lunches offered as an add-on at checkout. The event is a benefit race for the Friends of Powhatan State Park; part of the $50 entry fee supports that local volunteer organization. The event participates in the Virginia State Parks Adventure Series and is sponsored by Dominion Energy. Festival features include live music, a beer truck, and additional activities.
