Pat's Pony Express
Pat's Pony Express is a trail race held at the Rainbow Gulch Trailhead by Rampart Reservoir near Woodland Park, Colorado. The event is scheduled on the second Saturday of August and uses the 2023 course alignment, staying to the north of the reservoir for the coming year.

- 8 Miles
Pre-registration is required. Registration opens May 15, 2026 and closes July 24, 2026. Registrations are processed through RunSignUp. The registration fee listed for the 16 mile option is $80.00 and for the 8 mile option is $65.00. There will be no race day registration.
Parking is arranged at the request of the Forest Service on USFS Roads 950 and 951; those parking areas involve about a 1/4 mile walk to the start. There is minimal parking on the west side of Rampart Range Road and no parking allowed on the east side of the road. Parking guides will be on site to direct vehicles. The Rainbow Gulch parking lot is shared with other trail users.
Bib pickup is available on race day. The event is described as a traditional trail race located at Rampart Reservoir and organized as an annual race weekend. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
