The Pat Dunbar Memorial Race is a NIMRA Championship medium-distance trail run taking place on Saturday, 25th May 2024. The race covers a distance of 13km/8 miles with an ascent of 682m/2240ft. The route starts at Leitrim Lodge and follows the Mourne Way back towards Rostrevor, requiring some navigation skills as the course is not fully marked. Participants must carry specific equipment, including a whistle, compass, map, emergency rations, waterproof garments, hat, gloves, and a foil blanket.
