Pass to the Bay Christmas 10K
The Gulf Coast Running Club organizes the 45th annual Pass to the Bay event on Saturday, December 19, 2026. The event includes a 10K and a 1 Mile run/walk that connect Pass Christian and Bay St. Louis.
The 10K is a USATF-certified point-to-point course (MS22021MS) that begins on Second Street behind War Memorial Park in Pass Christian and finishes at the Subway location in Bay St. Louis (297 Hwy 90). The 1 Mile Health Run/Walk starts and finishes at the Subway location.
Participants receive custom long sleeve T-shirts with a Christmas design; shirts are distributed at the finish. A post-race party offers sandwiches, fruit, donuts, beer, cold drinks and Christmas music, and an extra free shirt is provided.
Registration options include early mail registrations (postmarked by December 16) and late or race-day registration at the start area. Entry fees listed include early rates of $20 for Gulf Coast Running Club members, $22 for non-members, $15 for children 12 and under for the 1 Mile, and a race-day fee of $25 for 10K runners.
Awards are given to top overall finishers and to age-group placings, with specific categories for masters, grand masters, seniors, and child divisions. Racewalking categories are included. Return transportation to the start is commonly arranged by carpooling; many participants park at the finish. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
