Pass It Along Triathlon
The Pass It Along Triathlon is a USAT sanctioned, one-day multi-sport event held at Lake Mohawk Country Club in Sparta Township, New Jersey on July 25, 2026. The event offers both sprint and Olympic distance courses with options for individual entries and relay teams. The venue is a privately owned lake community; the transition area is a grassy field east of the historic clubhouse and parking is located directly across from the transition and swim start.
The swim takes place in calm lake water and is patrolled by more than 30 lifeguards in boats, kayaks, and paddle boards. The bike course includes several hills and travels through the residential countryside of Sparta, Byram and Andover Townships; the course is not entirely closed to traffic. The run is mostly flat and follows the eastern shore of Lake Mohawk, passing through the Lake Mohawk White Deer Plaza where the finish area is located. Signage and race volunteers are positioned on course; participants must remain alert to traffic and resident access.
Age and entry notes include a minimum age of 14 for the sprint if turning 15 by December 31, proof of USAT membership required at packet pickup, and nonrefundable registration fees. T shirts are not guaranteed for registrations after July 18. Awards are given for overall and age group placements for both sprint and Olympic distances.
