Parramatta Race Series : Race 1 (2026)
Race 1 of the Parramatta Race Series takes place at George Kendall Riverside Park in Ermington along the Parramatta Valley Cycleway. The event offers multiple road running distances on flat courses that run adjacent to the Parramatta River between George Kendall Riverside Park and Western Sydney University.

All event distances are chip timed by Multisport Australia. Every finisher receives a themed 2026 Parramatta Race medal, a finisher certificate, post-race snacks and sponsor giveaways. There is a 3.5 hour cut off for the Half Marathon; the 2 km, 5 km and 10 km have no cut off.
The 2 km Family Dash is aimed at children; an accompanying adult can run for an additional $10 but will not be timed and will not receive a finisher medal. Race bibs are printed three weeks before race day and posted two weeks before; to have a name on a bib register at least three weeks before the event.
Getting to the park includes on-site car parks at the end of Trumper Street, Trumble Street and off Broadoaks Street, and nearby residential street parking. The 524 bus stops within a five minute walk; buses 501, 523, 525 and 544 stop within about a 15 minute walk.
A photographer will be on course. Course paths are shared with pedestrians, cyclists and dogs so participants should pay attention to their surroundings. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
