Event Overview
The Parramatta Race Series comprises three community running events organized by Race Hub Australia. The series includes Race 1 on 29 March 2026, with further race dates to be confirmed later. Each event offers several distances: a Half Marathon, a 10 km, a 5 km, and a 2 km Family Dash.
Course Details
All races take place on the Parramatta Valley Cycleway, running adjacent to the Parramatta River between George Kendall Riverside Park and Western Sydney University. The courses are described as flat.
Race Day Information
The event village opens at George Kendall Riverside Park in Ermington. On the day, there is a schedule of staggered starts for the different distances. All finishers receive a themed medal, post-race snacks, sponsor giveaways, and a finisher certificate. Event distances are professionally chip-timed.
Participation Details
The 2 km Family Dash is aimed at getting youngsters involved; an accompanying adult can run with a child for an additional fee, though the adult is not timed and does not receive a finisher's medal. There are no cut-off times for the 2 km, 5 km, and 10 km events. The Half Marathon has a 3.5-hour cut-off. Race bibs are printed and mailed in the weeks before the event, with deadlines for personalized bibs and postal delivery.
Getting There
Parking is available on nearby streets. Public transport options include several bus lines with stops within a 5 to 15-minute walk of the park. Participants should be aware that the shared paths will have other pedestrians and cyclists. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
