Parma Run-Walk for Pierogies : Parma, OH
The Parma Run-Walk for Pierogies is a community running and walking event held at the Tri-C Western Campus in Parma on June 27, 2026, marking its fifteenth year. Proceeds support multiple charities and community projects.
Distances offered include:
- 5k chip timed race
- 5k walk option
- 1 Mile walk
Event services and participant benefits include guaranteed event shirts for the first 600 pre-registered, pierogies from Perla Pierogies at the finish line, and a certificate for free pierogies. All participants receive a pierogie finisher award. The 5k is chip timed with live results; untimed participants receive a bib. Post-race snacks, water, and icy wet towels are provided near the finish.
Registration opens October 8, 2025. Fees listed by the organizer are: pre-registration $35, packet pickup and day of registration $40, and ages 11 and under $20. Packet pickup is available the day before at Tri-C Western Campus and on race day.
Awards include top overall male and female in the 5k and pierogie awards to the top three male and female finishers in each age division. Age groups range from 11 and under up through 80 and over. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
