Event details
The Parma Run-Walk for Pierogies is scheduled for Saturday, June 27, 2026, at Tri-C Western Campus, 11000 Pleasant Valley Road, Parma, OH. The event will mark its fifteenth year. It includes the following distances and event types:
- 5k - Timed
- 5k Walk
- 1 Mile Walk
The 5k will be chip timed with live results. Course maps are provided for the 5k and the 1 Mile. The course is described as very flat and takes place on the Tri-C West Campus. Post-race provisions include snacks, water, icey wet towels at the finish, and pierogies provided by Perla Pierogies. The first 600 pre-registered participants are guaranteed a signature t-shirt. All participants receive pierogies at the finish and a certificate for free pierogies. A pierogie finisher award is new for this year. Age-group pierogie necklace awards are given to the top three male and female finishers in each division.
Registration and logistics
Registration fees are listed as $35 for pre-registration, $40 for packet pickup and day-of registration, and $20 for ages 11 and under. Packet pickup is available the day before at Tri-C Western Campus and on race morning. Awards include top overall male and female in the 5k and multiple age-group divisions ranging from 11 & under through 80 & over. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
