Lake Erie Liberty 5K
The Lake Erie Liberty 5K takes place on June 27, 2026, in Avon Lake, Ohio at Beach Park Station. The event includes a main 5K run and a 1 mile run or walk. The 5K is chip timed and the 1 mile is untimed.

Pre-registration for the 5K and 1 mile is listed at $30. Race day registration fees are listed at $35. Mailed entries must be received by June 24, 2026. Registration opens February 2, 2026 and closes June 26, 2026.
Awards are given to the top overall male and female and to the top three male and female finishers in each age group. Age groups are 8 and under, 9 to 11, 12 to 14, 15 to 19, 20 to 29, 30 to 39, 40 to 49, 50 to 59, 60 to 69, 70 to 79, and 80 and over.
Participants receive a race shirt, post-race refreshments, and a finisher medal. Runners with dogs and strollers are asked to line up toward the back of the pack to reduce collisions and congestion. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
