Lake Erie Liberty 5K
The Lake Erie Liberty 5K is a community running event held in Avon Lake, Ohio at Beach Park Station on June 27, 2026. The event features a timed 5K and an untimed 1 Mile run or walk. Participants with dogs and with strollers are asked to line up toward the back of the pack to reduce congestion.
Registration is available in advance and on race day. Pre-registration fee for the 5K and the 1 Mile is $30. Race day registration fee is $35. Pre-registration opens February 2, 2026 and closes June 26, 2026. Mailed entries must be received by June 24, 2026; mailed checks are to be made payable to Hermes Sports & Events and sent to Hermes Sports & Events, 2425 West 11th St. Suite #2, Cleveland, Ohio 44113.
Awards include top overall male and female and the top three male and female finishers in the following age groups: 8/under, 9-11, 12-14, 15-19, 20-29, 30-39, 40-49, 50-59, 60-69, 70-79, 80+.
