About the race
The TD5K (Turkey Day) is a community 5K event taking place on November 26, 2026 in Highlands Ranch, Colorado. The course starts and finishes near Canvas Credit Union Stadium at Highlands Ranch, 3270 Redstone Park Circle.
The event includes a measured 5K course and welcomes runners, walkers, strollers, and well-behaved dogs. Registration categories shown in event materials include a free Hatchlings category for ages 5 and under (shirt not included), a Little Chicks category for ages 6 to 12 that includes a premium unisex long-sleeve poly blend t-shirt, an Ages 13 and up category that includes the same shirt, and a Flock of Four family entry for two adults plus two children 12 and under that includes shirts for each registrant.
On-site amenities described for the event include a post-race pancake breakfast with proceeds and donations directed to the Douglas County Fallen Officer Fund, and a beer garden for participants aged 21 and older. The Douglas County Fallen Officer Fund provides assistance to sheriff’s office members who are seriously injured in the line of duty or to families if a member is killed in the line of duty.
