Park 2 Park 5 Miler

The Park 2 Park 5 Miler is a running event in Normal, IL. It takes place on July 4, 2026. The race starts at Fairview Park.

It originated in 1985 as the Intercity 10K. The Lake Run club began organizing it in 1993. The event has grown to approximately 500 participants. There will be three water stations on the course.

5 Mile Run: The course closes at 8:30 AM.

Discounts are available for LRC members, Springfield Road Runners, and Starved Rock members. Participants are advised that there is no parking available at Fairview Park. Parking is available in the Illinois State University lot on Main Street just south of the park. Bib and shirt pickup is available at the park on race morning from 6:00 AM to 6:45 AM.
