Park 2 Park 10K / 5K : Jefferson Parish community run in Metairie
Presented by the New Orleans Track Club, the Park 2 Park event is a running and walking event in Jefferson Parish that links LaSalle Park and Lafreniere Park in Metairie. The main course covers approximately 10K (6.2 miles) and there is a 5K (3.1 miles) option. A Kids Run is offered for ages 13 and under.
The event includes multiple entry categories such as family entries, racewalker divisions, and wheelchair divisions. Participants follow a route that passes through several historic and scenic areas of Jefferson Parish, starting at LaSalle Park and finishing at Lafreniere Park. Shuttle buses run between Lafreniere and LaSalle to support logistics on race day.
