Paradise Breeze
Paradise Breeze returns for its second year, bringing a tropical theme to Westside Reservoir Park in Atlanta, Georgia. The event features multiple participation options staged in a park setting known as Shirley Franklin Park. The course for the 2026 edition has been modified to remove a significant hill previously included in the route.
The event offers three distinct registration categories:
- 5K Race
- 1 Mile Fun Run
- Virtual Run (5K distance)
The atmosphere includes Caribbean-inspired elements such as a live DJ and tropical-themed refreshments. Participants receive fresh fruit and tropical drinks after the run. The post-race program includes awards and various giveaways. Each registered participant has an opportunity to win a three-night stay in the United States Virgin Islands.
This event supports the work of local community partners. The virtual run option allows for participation from different locations, while the 5K and 1 Mile Fun Run are held on-site at the park. Registration for the physical events closes several weeks before the race date, while virtual registration remains open until the morning of the event.
