The Palouse to Cascades Marathon+ Relay takes place on Saturday, June 20, 2026. Registration opens November 1, 2025. The entry fee is $320. The event is a relay for teams of four runners. Teams may be all male, all female, or coed.
Course and rules
The relay covers part of the Palouse to Cascades State Park Trail along the former Milwaukee Road railroad corridor in Kittitas County. The Relay begins at Kiwanis Park (1201 N. B St., Ellensburg, WA 98926). Exchanges are at the Kittitas Trailhead and back at Kiwanis Park. The third exchange and the finish line are at the Thorpe Trailhead. Relay leg mileage will be added soon.
The race enforces a zero tolerance policy for alcohol or drug consumption on the course; any team caught will be disqualified and banned. Support vehicles may not be wider than 80 inches or longer than 20 feet. Motorhomes, buses, and limousines are not allowed on the course by teams or team support personnel.
