Palouse to Cascades Marathon+ Relay - Ellensburg, WA
The event is a team relay held on June 20, 2026, on the Palouse to Cascades State Park Trail in Kittitas County. The course follows the former Milwaukee Road railroad corridor and passes through tunnels, over bridges, and through scenic backcountry and small towns. The event enforces safety and conduct rules. There is a zero tolerance policy for alcohol and drug use on the course; violations result in disqualification and a ban from future events. Vehicle restrictions prohibit vehicles wider than 80 inches or longer than 20 feet; motorhomes, buses, and limousines are not allowed for teams or support personnel. Support vehicle decorations are permitted provided they avoid foul or overly suggestive language. Teams must obey Washington State laws and event volunteers; the trail crosses two major highways.
