Event overview
The Palisades Park Triathlon/Duathlon takes place on Sunday, June 28, 2026, in Alpine, NJ at the Alpine Boat Basin in Bergen County. The event offers three entries: a triathlon, a duathlon, and a volunteer-for-entry option. Both competitive events are open to athletes aged 18 and older. Course and distances
The swim is an open water start in the Hudson River; wetsuits are allowed but not required. Kayak volunteers will be on duty for swim safety.

The bike course is an out-and-back on Henry Hudson Drive with a 5-mile turnaround near Dyckman Hill Road and total elevation gain over 300 ft. The run is an out-and-back on Henry Hudson Drive.
Registration and volunteers
Registration opens March 1, 2026 at 12:00 am EST. Entry fees listed are $120 for the triathlon, $90 for the duathlon, and $0 for the volunteer-for-entry option. Registration is capped at 150 participants; the race was reported sold out as of 6/10.
