Paint the Parkway Pink - San Antonio
Paint the Parkway Pink is scheduled for October 10, 2026 at the San Antonio Police Training Academy in San Antonio, Texas. The event is presented by the ThriveWell Cancer Foundation and is the 14th annual edition. A new After Party will follow the race day program to recognize survivors.
The in person program includes multiple run and walk options on a course that uses the police training academy campus and track. Beginning this year the 5K will not be a competitive race; a clock will be at the finish but there will be no timing chips or awards ceremony. Registered participants in the 5K, One Mile, and kids' run receive a commemorative race t shirt; registrations completed before October 1 guarantee a shirt.
Virtual entries are offered. Virtual participants receive a t shirt and a medal; out of town virtual packets will be mailed rather than picked up locally.
The kids' race takes place on the academy track and is restricted to children age 8 and under. All finishers in the kids' race receive a ribbon and a goodie bag, and age group breakdowns are provided.
There are discounted or complimentary entry options for survivors and a discounted First Responder entry category. Sponsorship levels are available with benefits such as vendor space, logo placement, and race entries. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
