Paint Pikeville Pink / Colors Of Courage 5K Run/Walk
Paint Pikeville Pink, also called Colors Of Courage 5K Run/Walk, takes place in Pikeville, Kentucky on October 10, 2026. The event is hosted by Pikeville Medical Center and the Pike County Health Department and offers two distances.
- 5K Run/Walk - includes T-shirt, medal, and age awards
- 1 Mile Fun Walk - includes T-shirt and medal
All registered participants receive a t-shirt and a medal. The 5K features overall awards for 1st through 3rd place and age-group awards for 1st and 2nd place. Age groups are 14 and Under, 15 to 19, 20 to 29, 30 to 39, 40 to 49, 50 to 59, and 60+.
Participants are encouraged to wear the color or colors that represent types of cancer that have affected their lives. At the start and finish area there are activities to share information about cancer resources, to honor survivors, and to remember those who have died. There will also be family games and fellowship at the finish.
Registration fees listed are $30 for the 5K and $25 for the 1 Mile Fun Walk. One hundred percent of proceeds go directly to support cancer awareness and to assist cancer patients at Lawson Cancer Center at Pikeville Medical Center. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
