The Pain in De Ass is a 5K road race held on Sunday, June 7, 2026, in Chesapeake City, Maryland. Race amenities, awards and logistics
All participants receive a race shirt and a finisher medal. A complimentary signature drink is offered to participants aged 21 and over. Post-race snacks and entertainment are provided, and a post-race gathering is held on the deck of the Chesapeake Inn. Bib pick-up takes place at the Chesapeake Inn on race day. Street parking is available in the town.
Awards are given for Overall Male and Female, Overall Masters Male and Female, and the top three finishers in each age group. Age groups are: 13 and under, 14-19, 20-29, 30-39, 40-49, 50-59, 60-69, and 70+. Overall and Masters awards are based on gun time; age-group awards are based on chip time.
