Fightin' 55 Turkey Trot
The Fightin' 55 Turkey Trot is the 20th annual Thanksgiving Day race in Downtown Havre de Grace, held at the STAR Centre, 700 Congress Ave, Havre de Grace, MD 21078. The event continues a local running tradition previously known as the Bulle Rock Turkey Trot and benefits the Susquehanna Hose Company of Havre de Grace.
Race formats include both in-person and virtual options. Virtual participants can complete the 5K any time between Wednesday, November 25 and Sunday, November 29, may submit results during that event window, and will receive shipped race packets with shipping included.
Distances:
- 5K (3.11 Miles)
- 1 Mile
- Kids 5K for ages 10 and under
- Kids 1 Mile for ages 10 and under
- 5K Virtual Race available for remote participation
Awards will be presented to the top three overall male and female finishers and to the top three in each age group for in-person participants only. Age groups are: 10 & Under; 11-14; 15-19; 20-29; 30-39; 40-49; 50-59; 60-69; 70+. The in-person 5K will be professionally chip-timed by Blue Cheetah Sports Timing, LLC.
