Paddock Wood Half Marathon
The Paddock Wood Half Marathon is a road race held in Kent, described as a fast, flat and accurate course that passes through local hop gardens and orchards. The event is organised by Paddock Wood AC and is run under UK Athletics (UKA) rules.
The race includes official pacers with target finish times covering a broad range, including 1:20, 1:25, 1:30, 1:40, 1:45, 1:50, 2:00, 2:15, 2:30 and 2:45. Bone conduction headphones that sit in front of the ears are permitted, while in-ear and over-ear headphones are banned under UKA rule TR55 S5 for the 2024 to 2026 period; medically prescribed in-ear hearing aids should be declared to the race organisers before the race starts.
Lambert & Foster are listed as the event sponsors for 2027 and 2028 and have provided a branded "Selfie Stand" located shortly after the finish line. The race supports the Air Ambulance Charity Kent Surrey Sussex, which provides helicopter emergency medical services; the charity’s stated operating cost is £18.8 million per year and it responds to an average of nine emergency calls per day.
Results, official race photos and a prize list for recent editions are published by the organisers. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
