Event overview
The Lambert & Foster Paddock Wood Half Marathon is scheduled for Sunday 8 March 2026. The race is a half marathon run on roads through the hop fields and orchards of Kent. The course is described as fast, flat and accurate and uses chip timing at the start and finish. The event has a race limit of 3,000 entries.
Race details and facilities
Entry rules include a minimum age of 17 on race day, no refunds, no deferrals and no name transfers. Early bird entry fees (until 31 December 2025) are £28 with a UK Athletics competition licence and £30 without; fees from 1 January 2026 are £33 with licence and £35 without. Entries on the day, if available, will be limited to 40.
The event lists a range of on-course facilities and services: pacers for a range of target times (including 1:20, 1:30, 1:40, 1:50, 2:00, 2:15 and 2:30), ample parking, a local train station, supervised baggage store, refreshments, a physiotherapist and full first aid cover. Results are published online and via text after the event, and race photography is free to download for entrants. All finishers receive a medal and a bottle of water.
Accessibility and safety notes: the course is not suitable for wheelchairs or pushchairs and buggies. In-ear and over-ear headphones are banned under UKA rules; bone conduction headphones that do not cover the ear are allowed. Medically prescribed in-ear hearing aids should be declared to the organisers before the race. The race charity is the Air Ambulance Charity Kent Surrey Sussex (KSS).
