Paddock Wood Half Marathon
The Paddock Wood Half Marathon is scheduled for Sunday 14 March 2027 and is run on a measured, predominantly flat road course through the hop fields and orchards of Kent. The event uses chip timing for start and finish and provides a medal and a bottle of water to all finishers.
Event facilities include ample parking, access to a local train station, a supervised baggage store, on-course and post-race refreshments, a physiotherapist, and full first aid cover. Results are posted on the internet and sent by text immediately after the event. Free downloadable photos are available to all entrants. A race pacing team will be present for a range of finishing targets (1.20, 1.25, 1.30, 1.40, 1.45, 1.50, 2.00, 2.15, 2.30 and 2.45).
Entry options distinguish competitors with and without a UK Athletics competition licence. Early bird entry fees are listed and change from 01/01/2027; minimum age on race day is 17. The organiser states there are no refunds, no deferrals, and no name transfers. The course is not suitable for wheelchairs, pushchairs, or buggies.
