Event overview
The DoggieRun 4K/5K is scheduled in Los Angeles, California, on November 21, 2026. It is organized by Run For Paws and Aztlán Athletics and marks the event's first U.S. edition after three prior editions in Mexico. The race promotes pet adoption, compassion, and healthy living. A virtual 5K option is available for registrants who cannot attend in person.

Registrants who enter the dog 4K receive a T-shirt, finisher medal, bandana for the dog, chip-timed race bib, live race results, and finish-line hydration for humans and dogs. The event medal includes a removable paw charm that can be used as a keychain.
Rules for participants with dogs
Each walker may bring only one dog. The person walking the dog must be at least 18 years old; children may walk alongside but may not hold the leash. Dogs must be leashed at all times with a leash no longer than four feet; retractable leashes are not allowed. Dogs must be current on required vaccines; puppies who have not completed vaccinations should not be brought. Participants must pick up after their pets. Organizers note there may be many large dogs; small dogs may be carried or placed in a pet stroller for safety.
Registration, awards, and policies
All registration fees are non-refundable. Transfers or switching to the virtual race are allowed only before the event’s transfer deadline; after that date no changes will be permitted. Prize awards for the 4K include cash gift cards for top three male and female finishers. The 5K winners receive goody bags that include a pair of shoes sponsored by Run With Us Club Pasadena.
