Paces for PAWS - Belfast Rail Trail
Paces for PAWS is the 9th annual run and walk hosted by PAWS Animal Adoption Center on June 13, 2026. The event takes place on the Belfast Rail Trail with the starting line at the Train Depot on the trail (13 Oak Hill Rd, Belfast, ME 04915). It is part of the RunBelfast 2026 race series and receives support from the Belfast Parks and Recreation Department.
The event includes these options:

- 1 Mile Walk
All proceeds support PAWS efforts to provide shelter, food, and medical attention to animals in need. A fundraising pledge form is available for participants who wish to raise funds for PAWS. Registration for the event is open.
A parking lot is available near the starting area. Participants bringing dogs must keep them on a leash and have proof of rabies vaccination and town registration. Attendees are also asked to bring poop bags and water for their animals.
