Oyster Bay Brewing Co & Matthew Fetzer Foundation 5K
This event features a 5K run and walk plus a Kids Fun Run held at the Oyster Bay Brewing Company parking area in Oyster Bay, NY. The event proceeds benefit the Matthew Fetzer Foundation, a 501c3 nonprofit for children with cancer. Participants and attendees are invited to bring a new toy or a gift card for children receiving treatment.

The course starts and finishes in the back parking lot of the brewery and follows local streets with a U turn on McCouns Lane before returning to the brewery parking lot. Amenities listed for the event include raffles, awards, refreshments, beer, and a t-shirt. Pre-registration for the 5K by April 18 qualifies registrants for a t-shirt and one free raffle ticket for a Grill Top Pizza Oven. Registered participants over 21 are eligible for one free beer.
Awards are given to the top overall male and female and the top three male and female finishers in multiple age groups including 12 and under, 13-19, 20-29, 30-39, 40-49, 50-59, 60-69, 70-79, and 80 plus. Bib pickup and number lookup are provided and bib numbers may be texted or emailed for entrants who register more than 24 hours in advance.
