Oyster Bay Brewing Company and Matthew Fetzer Foundation 5K
This event is a community 5K run/walk with a separate kids fun run held at the Oyster Bay Brewing Company back parking lot in Oyster Bay, NY. Proceeds benefit the Matthew Fetzer Foundation, a 501c3 nonprofit supporting children with cancer. Organizers also accept donations of new toys or gift cards for children receiving care.
Pre-registration by April 18 includes a race t-shirt and one raffle ticket for a Grill Top Pizza Oven. Registered runners over 21 are eligible for one complimentary beer.

Amenities include raffles, awards, refreshments, beer, and a t-shirt. Awards are given to the top overall male and female, and the top three male and female finishers in each age group including 12 and under, 13-19, 20-29, 30-39, 40-49, 50-59, 60-69, 70-79, and 80 plus.
Bib pickup is available beginning about one hour before the event; participants should know their bib number or use the self-lookup area. If registration occurs more than 24 hours in advance, the bib number will be sent by text or email prior to pickup.
The 5K course begins and finishes in the brewery parking lot and follows local streets with a midcourse U-turn. The kids fun run remains within the parking lot. Roller blades, skates, bicycles, baby joggers, strollers, and pets are not permitted. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
