Outrun the Stigma 5K Run/Walk
Outrun the Stigma 5K Run/Walk takes place on October 24, 2026 in Massapequa Park, New York, at Front Street and Park Boulevard. The event is organized as an in-person race with on-site bib pickup at a white tent in Municipal Lot 1 and parking advised under the LIRR tracks. Registration fees are non-refundable and are used for race expenses.

The course begins on a closed road and enters the Massapequa Preserve after a few hundred yards. Participants will spend roughly half the route on dirt and gravel trails and half on a paved trail, then return briefly to the roadway for the finish. Personalized bibs are available for those who register at least three weeks in advance; last-minute registrants receive their bib number by text.
Amenities listed for the event include finisher medals for adult 5K finishers, an after party with food and music, event shirts (not guaranteed), live and same-day results by text or email, and free finish-line photos.
