OUTLAST ORLANDO
OUTLAST is a six hour trail endurance challenge held in Clermont, Florida at 741 W Montrose St. Participants complete a 5K loop every hour for up to six hours. Each lap must be finished within the hour to continue; missing a lap removes that participant from further rounds. Runners who finish early may rest until the next round.
Courses are trail based and include natural terrain, elevation, and occasionally pavement or gravel. Aid is provided at the basecamp/loop start with water, basic hydration, and snacks. This is a cupless event, so participants are expected to bring their own bottle or hydration system. Tent setups and personal aid stations are allowed.
Recognition is awarded by laps completed: four laps earn a "Grit Earned" patch, five laps earn a "Survivor" patch, and six laps earn a premium OUTLAST six inch medal. All participants receive a premium OUTLAST tee. Each 5K is timed individually; a combined time for six laps determines local winners and national leaderboard placement. The fastest runner across all OUTLAST six hour events receives the National Champion title and a $1,000 prize.
Top five male and female six hour champions from each city earn a spot at the Outlast Championship in DFW on December 4 2027, with championship prizes of 1st 1200, 2nd 800, and 3rd 500.
