OUTLAST AUSTIN, Dripping Springs TX
OUTLAST is a trail endurance event held on 12/19/2026 at 1042 Event Center Dr, Dripping Springs, TX 78620, US. Runners attempt repeated 5K laps, with each lap required to be completed within the hour to continue in the event. Early finishes allow rest until the next round; missed laps eliminate the runner from further rounds.
Distances offered:
- 18 Miles, 6 hour challenge
- 36 Miles, 12 hour challenge
Registration details for each event are provided with set open and close dates and entry fees; participants receive a premium OUTLAST Tee and only receive the medal for the race they register for.
Course and logistics are trail based, featuring natural terrain, elevation, rocks, roots, and occasional pavement or gravel. Aid is available at basecamp/loop start with water, basic hydration, and snacks. This is a cupless event so participants should bring their own bottle or hydration system. Tent or aid station setups are allowed at the venue.
Awards and ranking follow combined 5K times for those who complete all laps. Patches are awarded for four and five completed laps; a premium OUTLAST medal is awarded for completing six laps and a larger medal for completing twelve laps. Top male and female combined times earn local awards and placement on a world leaderboard; the fastest across all OUTLAST 6 hour events earns a World Champion title and a $1,000 prize. Top city qualifiers advance to the Outlast World Championship in DFW on December 4, 2027, where prize money is awarded to the top three finishers.
