About the race
Samsara Cycle and Garmin Outdoor host a community running event on Saturday, November 14 in Vancouver at samsara cycle located at 2170 Fir Street, Vancouver, BC V6J 3B5. The event brings together a group run, product demonstrations, and a post-run social.
Main activity: a 5 km community run through Kitsilano with experienced run leaders guiding different pace groups. All genders, paces, and experience levels are welcome. All participants are required to sign a waiver before taking part.
Garmin staff will offer on-site demonstrations and limited demo watches for participants to test during the run. The event notes the Forerunner 470 as an available demo model with an AMOLED display, wrist-based heart rate, built-in GPS, Garmin Coach, Daily Suggested Workouts, and extended battery life. Demo watches are limited and available on a first-come, first-served basis.
After the run there is a social gathering at Brewing August, 1614 W 3rd Ave, Vancouver, BC V6J 1K2. Each registered participant will receive one complimentary drink ticket with alcoholic and non-alcoholic options, and food will be available for purchase.
