Out Of The Blue Battle 10k & 5k
Out Of The Blue Battle is a twilight trail race held at Ashburnham Place in Battle, East Sussex, across parts of the estate. The event offers multiple distances and runs on mixed terrain with sections of trails and hills, and some areas of long grass have been noted in previous editions.
Distances
- 10k : two laps of the route
- 5k : one lap of the route
- Junior Run
The event raises funds for four charities: Winston's Wish, Dragonflies, CALM and The Beachy Head Chaplaincy Team. Charity tents are present on race day and route maps including GPX files are provided for detailed navigation.
Facilities and logistics include a bespoke medal for finishers, free parking on site and free sports massage. Food is available on site via a BBQ; prices may vary. Entry on the day is cash only due to limited signal for card payments. Dogs are not allowed at Ashburnham Place.
