Ouray Mountain Trail Run
The Ouray Mountain Trail Run is a 13-mile mountain trail event in Ouray, Colorado, with start and finish at Fellin Park. The event serves as a fundraiser for the Ouray School, hosted by the school's Parent and Teacher Organization and the high school outdoor education class. Proceeds support student educational trips.
Race packets are available for pickup at Fellin Park on Friday, September 18 from 5:30 to 7:30 PM and on Saturday, September 19 from 6:30 to 7:15 AM. There are no day-of registrations. Registration closes on Wednesday, September 16 at 11:59 PM MT.
The course is intended to be cupless. There will be three water stations with limited cups; participants are expected to carry their own water. A first aid station is located about 5 miles into the course. All runners must reach the second aid station, at approximately 7 miles, within three hours. Awards are given to the top three male and top three female finishers.
Entry fees are nonrefundable and nontransferable, including in the event of cancellation for weather, governmental reasons, or another pandemic. Registrants may choose an optional athletic t-shirt branded by Outdoor Research; size availability can be guaranteed for selections made before August 1.
