The event takes place on January 9, 2027 at Mayor Glenda Hood Park in Orlando. Participants can choose from 10K, 5K, or 2K distances and may run, jog, or walk at their own pace.
The event is organized by Our Lessons Learned to raise funds and support caregivers and families of incarcerated loved ones. Families, children, and first-time participants are explicitly welcomed.
Race day includes check-in and packet pickup, a group warm-up, the races, and an awards and celebration period. Registration is listed as $10 per person plus Eventbrite fees. The venue is Mayor Glenda Hood Park, formerly Harbor Park, at 4990 New Broad Street, Orlando, FL 32814.
Attendees are advised to bring comfortable shoes, a water bottle, sunscreen, and the Eventbrite ticket; a ticket displayed on a phone is acceptable. The event description notes that gifts are another way to support the organization’s work with caregivers and families of incarcerated people.
