Event Overview
The AKD Otway Trail Run takes place on the Old Beechy Rail Trail within the Otway Ranges in Victoria. The event offers timed trail runs and a walk, concluding in the village of Gellibrand.

- 16 km Trail Run (timed)
- 6.3 km Trail Run (timed)
- 6.3 km Walk (free for participants under 10 years old)
Canicross runners are also accommodated, starting five minutes after each run's start wave. The 16 km run begins in Barongarook, while the 6.3 km run and walk start in Kawarren. Both finish at Gellibrand Hall.
Event Logistics
The event raises funds for the Colac Area Health Foundation's Wellness Centre Appeal and Rotary youth programs. Limited parking is available at the start areas in Barongarook and Kawarren, with buses provided for transport. An awards ceremony is scheduled after the runs.
Participants who register before February 27, 2026, will have their event bib posted. Others can collect their bib from the Information tent on the event morning. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
