Orton Fell Race
The Orton Fell Race is a fell running event held in the village of Orton. The race is licensed by the Fell Runners Association (FRA) and operates under UK Athletics (UKA) rules. The main event follows a 10 km (6.2 miles) course that includes a total ascent of 258 m (846 ft). The race is classified as a Category BS event, indicating it is a short race with a moderate amount of climbing relative to its length.
Participants start and finish at the Orton C of E Primary School. The senior race is open to runners aged 16 and older. In addition to individual competition, the event includes a category for teams of three.
