Orthopaedic Rehab Specialists Oktoberfest 10K/5K and Kids Superhero Run
The event is scheduled for October 3, 2026 in downtown Jackson at 117 W. Louis Glick Hwy, Jackson, MI 49201. It features timed running and walking events plus a Kids Superhero Run for children age 10 and under. Costumes are encouraged for the kids event.
Distances include:
- 10K Run - 6.2 Miles
- 5K Run - 3.1 Miles
- 5K Walk - 3.1 Miles
- Kids Superhero Run for ages 10 and under
Registration for the main events opens 01/01/2026 and closes 01/15/2026. Kids Run registration opens 01/01/2026 and closes on 10/03/2026. Early packet pick-up is Friday, October 2 at ORS West Ave, 214 N. West Ave, Jackson, in the lobby. Race day packet pick-up is available the morning of the event.
Every participant receives a $10 DDA Downtown Jackson gift card to spend at qualifying downtown businesses. The Kids Superhero Run is sponsored by Distracted Driver Awareness. Proceeds support Greater Jackson Habitat for Humanity and its 20 by 28 initiative. No dogs are permitted except service dogs. Race timing will be provided by the Michigan Running Foundation.
