ORRRC Vandalia 5k

The ORRRC Vandalia 5k is presented by the Ohio River Road Runners Club, a non-profit organization run by volunteers. It is described as one of the club's "small races." The event is held in Vandalia, Ohio. Parking is available at the Vandalia Recreation Center on Stonequarry Road.

There is a single 5k race distance. Participants can expect chip timing, refreshments, and the possibility of age group awards. The event does not include race shirts or finisher medals.

Fees and Registration

Pre-registration is available through RunSignup. On race day, participants who pre-registered should go to a green table to collect their timing chip.

  • Current ORRRC members can run for free.
  • Non-members aged 15 and over pay $10.
  • Participants aged 14 and under can run for free. Race day registration is available both online until shortly before the race and via paper forms. Members who do not register online must show proof of membership on race day to receive the free entry. Non-members have the option to join the club during registration.

Awards

Awards are given for first overall male and female, first masters (over 40), first grand masters (over 50), and first seniors (over 60). Age group awards are also available across many categories, from 10-14 up to 80 and over. The 9 and under category is non-competitive.
