Location, course and entries
The event is based at Lock 9 Park, 125 E Water St, Piqua. Both distances use an out-and-back route on the Great Miami Riverway Path, starting south and returning north. There is a planned water stop about 1.25 miles into the course. Packet pickup and race day registration are held at Crooked Handle in the event area.
Entry information lists a base fee of $25. Registration on or before December 1, 2025 includes a long sleeve 100% cotton T-shirt. A race day entry fee is listed as $30. Age divisions are split by male and female: 14 and under, 15-19, 20-29, 30-39, 40-49, 50-59, 60-69, and 70 and over. Awards are given to the overall top three male and female and the top three male and female in each age category, with no duplications. Door prizes and awards are planned after the finish.
