Event Overview
The ORRRC Tadmor 10k is a running event managed by the Ohio River Road Runners Club, an all-volunteer non-profit organization. The race takes place in Tipp City, Ohio, with participants parking at Kyle Park. This event is part of the club's "small race" series, focusing on community participation and support for runners and walkers of all abilities.
Course and History
The race name pays tribute to the historical town of Tadmor, which served as a major transportation hub in Montgomery County until it was destroyed by the Great Flood of 1913. The course travels through Taylorsville Metropark, leading participants near the original location of the historical site.
Participation and Awards
This event utilizes chip timing provided by volunteer timers. While the race does not offer shirts or finisher medals, refreshments are provided for participants. Awards are presented in several categories:
- 10k distance only.
