ORRRC Primitive Trail 5K
The ORRRC Primitive Trail 5K is scheduled for July 19, 2026, at Patricia Allyn Park in Springboro, Ohio. The race location uses Shelter 2 for registration and parking is available at Patricia Allyn Park.
The event is a timed 5 kilometer running race. All participants must check in before the race and attach their assigned timing chip to one shoe; organizers will distribute chips at a table with a green tablecloth.
Registration is available online via RunSignup and can also be done in person on race day. Hard copy registration sheets are available at the event. Minors may be registered online by a parent or guardian or in person with a parent or guardian present to sign the waiver. Current ORRRC members run for free when their membership profile is used or when they show proof of membership at the event. Non members pay a fee of $10 for ages 15 and up; ages 14 and under are free. Members who do not register online must show proof of membership on race day to receive the member fee.
Awards are given for first overall male and female and for age categories: masters 40 and over, grand master 50 and over, and senior 60 and over. Animals are not permitted at the event except for service dogs that must be clearly identified. Organizers recruit volunteers and assign roles for race day.
