Ghost 'n Goblin 5k
The Ghost 'n Goblin 5k is presented by the Ohio River Road Runners Club and takes place in Centerville, Ohio with the event location listed as 5800 Clyo Road. Packet pickup is at Sinclair Community College - Centerville on race day from 12:30pm to 5:45pm.
Registration pricing for 2026 is tiered: Sept 1 - Sept 30 at $32 for adults and $29 for ages 10 and under; Oct 1 - Oct 26 at $36 for adults and $33 for ages 10 and under; Race Day registration is $40 for all ages. A registration processing fee is added separately at checkout. Shirt sizes and availability are guaranteed only for participants who register by October 13. Adult shirts are XS to 4XL; youth shirts are Youth S to Youth XL; shirts are lightweight tech hoodies.
Race proceeds benefit local school running programs through the Ghost 'n Goblin Youth Running Challenge. Registrants select a school district; three finishers are selected at random and winning schools receive up to $500. A fourth donation is planned for the school or group with the most volunteers.
Event features listed include a costume contest held shortly before the race, post-race pizza and snacks, many raffle prizes, and age-group awards with top three overall male and female winners. Race rules note that jogging strollers are discouraged, only service dogs are allowed, headphones are strongly discouraged, the race will use three wave starts, and timing uses a disposable chip on the back of the bib.
