Ghost 'n Goblin 5k
The Ghost 'n Goblin 5k is presented by the Ohio River Road Runners Club and takes place Tuesday, October 27th in Centerville, Ohio at 5800 Clyo Road. The event is a chip-timed 5k with disposable timing chips affixed to the back of race bibs; participants must wear their bib for results and awards.
Packet pickup is at Sinclair Community College - Centerville on Tuesday, October 27th from 12:30pm to 5:45pm. Parking is available at Sinclair with overflow at the St. Francis church lot and the hospital across Clyo Road; spaces closest to the building are reserved for those with limited mobility. After 5:45pm vehicles may be directed to overflow parking.
Registration pricing varies by date with reduced rates for ages 10 and under shown at checkout. Shirt availability and sizes are guaranteed for participants who register by October 13th; adult shirts are offered in XS to 4XL and youth shirts in Youth S to Youth XL. Unworn shirts may be exchanged at packet pickup if the desired size is available.
Proceeds benefit local school running programs through the Ghost 'n Goblin Youth Running Challenge. Registrants select a school district; three finishers are selected at random and their chosen schools receive up to $500. A fourth donation is planned for the school or group with the most volunteers.
Race rules note that jogging strollers are discouraged, only service animals are allowed, headphones are strongly discouraged, and there will be three wave starts to help with course safety.
