The organizer does not offer refunds; entries may be deferred up to one year on a sliding scale.

Course and logistics

The swim is held at the Oro Valley Aquatics Center in a long-course pool with serpentine swim; swimmers enter from the south end and spectators may use pool bleachers. The bike course is coned off from traffic with one dedicated car lane and a bike lane; the route contains downhills and short uphills. The run course is described as flat and consists of loops for duathlon participants. Transitions T1 and T2 are in the parking lot east of the pool with marked mount and dismount lines. Helmets approved by the Consumer Product Safety Commission are required and chin straps must be fastened before mounting and remain fastened until the bike is racked. Electronic music devices are not allowed on course. Timing chips require collection using a bib number. Awards are given for overall and age-group placings; awards will not be mailed. Parking is available at the Aquatics Center, Canyon del Oro High School, and behind James D. Kreigh Park. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
