Southern Arizona Triple 50
The Southern Arizona Triple 50 is a seasonal series challenge for trail runners. To complete the series, participants must finish three specific ultra-running events in Southern Arizona within a single season. Each of the three races features a 50-mile distance and must be finished within a 15-hour time limit.
The events included in the series are:
- Colossal Vail 50 in Vail, AZ
- AZT Oracle Rumble 50 in Oracle, AZ
- Old Pueblo 50 in Sonoita, AZ
All events take place on sections of the Arizona National Scenic Trail. The series is designed to support the Arizona Trail Association, with event proceeds donated to help protect, maintain, and sustain the trail environment.
Finishers of all three 50-mile races receive a custom high-performance garment to commemorate the achievement, in addition to the standard items provided at each individual event. Registration discounts are available for members of the Arizona Trail Association, military veterans, and Native Americans.
The challenge is supported by local partners, including Team Woodall with Long Realty and FYZICAL Therapy & Balance Center. Results are tracked annually, with records maintained for finishers who successfully navigate these routes along the Arizona Trail. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
