Southern Arizona Triple 50
The Southern Arizona Triple 50 is a season-long challenge that asks participants to complete three separate 50 mile trail ultras in southern Arizona within a single season. Each of the three races must be finished within 15 hours.
- 50 miles Colossal Vail 50, Vail AZ, December 5 2026
- 50 miles AZT Oracle Rumble 50, Oracle AZ, January 30 2027
- 50 miles Old Pueblo 50, Sonoita AZ, March 6 2027
All three events use portions of the Arizona National Scenic Trail. Event proceeds are donated to the Arizona Trail Association to support efforts to protect, maintain, enhance, promote and sustain the Arizona Trail as an encounter with the natural environment.
The Southern Arizona Triple 50 is supported by local organizations including Team Woodall with Long Realty and FYZICAL Therapy and Balance Center. Participants who finish all three races receive event swag at each ultra and a custom high performance garment to mark completion of the Triple 50.
Discounted registration is offered to Native Americans, members of the Arizona Trail Association, and military veterans. Results and seasonal finisher lists are maintained for multiple years of the series. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
