Orion Veterans Memorial Day Run
The Orion Veterans Memorial Day Run is the 10th annual Memorial Day event held on May 25, 2026 in Lake Orion, Michigan. The race takes place at 175 S Anderson St and uses Anderson Street adjacent to the Children’s Park parking lot for the start and finish area. All participants receive a finisher medal upon completing their race.
The event program includes multiple in-person and virtual participation options:
- 5K Run/Walk
- 5K Run/Walk Military category
- 5 Mile Run
- 5 Mile Run Military category
- Virtual participant option
Packet pickup and registration are scheduled for Sunday, May 24, noon to 4:00 PM at Hanson’s Running Shop at the corner of Flint and Broadway. Event shirts are guaranteed for participants who register by May 1. A virtual race option is available for those who cannot attend in person. All event proceeds benefit the long-term sustainability of the Orion Veterans Memorial. Day of registration may be limited or unavailable.
