Oriflamme - April 11, 2026

Oriflamme is a 50K trail run near Julian, CA, held within Anza Borrego Desert State Park. The course is an out and back that begins at the Sunrise Trailhead parking area and uses a mix of single track and wider trails.

The route follows the Pacific Crest Trail north to Mason Valley Truck Trail, then descends more than 2,000 feet into the desert via Oriflamme Canyon. At the canyon base runners join the California Riding and Hiking Trail, cross S2, and proceed through Box Canyon into Blair Valley, which serves as the turnaround point. The return route includes a climb of more than five miles back up Oriflamme Canyon.
