Orcas Island Triathlon
The Orcas Island Triathlon is scheduled for May 17, 2026 at Cascade Lake on Orcas Island, Olga, Washington. The event is USAT sanctioned and is described as the inaugural running of the Orcas Island Triathlon. The course offers lake swim access and views that include Mount Constitution.
The event consists of three segments with these distances:
- 1/4 mile swim in Cascade Lake
- 13 mile hilly road bike out to Dei Resort and back
- 5k trail run around Cascade Lake
Race entries include a Super Sprint full triathlon and relay options for two and three person teams. The two person relay requires both team members to be USAT members; a one day membership is available. Entry packages list items such as long sleeve mesh event T-Shirt for full entrants, custom race T-Shirts for relays, finishers medallions, and entrance to a pasta feed. Published entry prices are $80 for the Super Sprint full triathlon, $45 for a two person relay, and $35 for a three person relay.
