Santa 5K at Cordata
The Santa 5K at Cordata is a Santa themed five kilometer event held on December 19, 2026, at Cordata Community Park and parts of Julianna Park in Bellingham. Participants may run, skip, or walk the 5K course. Costumes are optional and encouraged. All participants receive a one size fits most Santa hat.
Registration fees vary by date: $15 for November 1–28, $25 for November 29–December 17. Kids 12 and under are $10 and "kids who roll" are free. The program is non-refundable and ID is required at check-in. Early packet pick-up is scheduled for December 18 at Fairhaven Runners and Walkers; late packet pick-up is at Cordata Park.
Timing is provided by Pacific Multisports using pre-inserted timing chips on race numbers, and real time results are available once the race begins. Awards are given to the top three finishers in male, female, and non-binary divisions for each age group. Results and course maps are posted online. Dogs are allowed if leashed and well behaved. Parking is limited to designated areas and participants are advised to consider biking, public transit, or carpooling.
