Santa 5K at Cordata
The event is a Santa themed 5K held at Cordata Community Park and Julianna Park in Bellingham on Saturday, December 19, 2026. The course map and race logistics are provided by the organizers and timing is handled by Pacific Multisports using pre‑inserted timing chips for each race number.
Participants may run, skip, or walk the course. Costumes are not required; the event notes that costumes enhance the experience by 28.5 percent. All participants receive a one size fits most Santa hat. There is a costume contest with prizes and some draw prizes are handed out after the event.
Registration fees vary by date: November 1 to November 28 is $15, November 29 to December 17 is $25. Kids 12 and under are $10, and children who roll are listed as free. The program is non refundable and ID is required at check in.
Packet pick up is available early on December 18 from 3 to 6 pm at Fairhaven Runners and Walkers, with late packet pick up at Cordata Park, 4510 Cordata Parkway. Divisions are offered for male, female, and non binary competitors across age groups from 10 and under through 70 plus. Awards go to the top three finishers in each gender division and age group.
