Orange Crush 5km Run
The Orange Crush 5km Run is scheduled for October 25, 2026, at Fairy Lake in Newmarket, Ontario. The event is organized by Orangetheory Fitness Newmarket-Aurora and includes a separate children's event and a main 5 km race.
Distances:
- 1 km children's fun run with a costume contest.
- 5 km main chip-timed race with prizes for the top three men and top three women.
Race timing is chip-based to produce accurate results. Race kit pick-up is scheduled for Friday, October 23 at the Orangetheory Fitness Newmarket-Aurora studio. Registration fees are applied; sample prices shown in the event information include CA$13.14 for the 1 km kids run and from CA$40.37 to CA$51.26 for the 5 km depending on the registration period.
The event lists sponsorship from several local and regional organizations, including Shades of Hope Wildlife Refuge, Neighbour Media, TD Wealth, THE MARC GROUP, Ambrosia Health Food Shop, lululemon, Supplement King, Fairy Tails, Herc's Nutrition East Gwillimbury, and OsteoAlign. Organizers indicate a partnership with Shades of Hope Wildlife Refuge and state an aim to direct 100% of event proceeds to support that organization.
