City To Summit 2026
City To Summit 2026 is scheduled for Friday 25 September 2026 and is listed as sold out. The event is a fundraising trek organised by the Operation Flinders Foundation that travels from the Adelaide CBD into the Adelaide Hills.
Participants walk from the city through suburban streets and ascend into the Adelaide Hills, reaching Mt Lofty Summit and finishing at Woodhouse Activity Centre. The route is approximately 21 km and is expected to take around 6 to 7 hours. The walk is led by an Operation Flinders Team Leader who typically guides young people through remote terrain in the northern Flinders Ranges.
Along the route, participants stop at designated locations to experience Operation Flinders activities, learn about the Foundation, and hear from past participants and young people involved in the program. At Woodhouse Activity Centre there is a food platter and an opportunity to hear from the young people about their experiences.
The event is presented as a fundraising challenge. Participants are asked to fundraise, with a suggested target of $1,000 each. All funds raised go to the Operation Flinders Foundation to support programs that aim to transform the lives of young people.
