OPERATION 180
Operation 180 is a team endurance event at Charlton Hall Estate, Alnwick, on 7 November 2026. Teams of five athletes compete continuously for 180 minutes in a format that mixes running and SkiErg work with planned rotations, strategy and recovery. Each unit must include at least two female athletes.
The objective is measurable and simple: accumulate more work than every other team over the 180 minutes. The event emphasises pacing, teamwork and sustained output, where each decision about effort and recovery affects the whole unit. Last year participants described the event as "BRUTAL BUT CLASS", "TOUGH" and "A MENTAL BATTLE AS WELL AS PHYSICAL".
Entry will initially be password protected and teams must apply for a place; only 20 teams will be accepted. The listed entry price is GBP 40. The organisers present the event as intentionally demanding and energy-sapping, and the format requires continuous team management for the full three hours.
The event is scheduled as an offline, in-person competition at Charlton Hall Estate. When the 180 minutes end, rankings are based on accumulated work across the team with one winning team declared. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
