About the race
The One Barrel 2.62 event takes place in Egg Harbor on Saturday, November 28, 2026. This is the seventh running of the One Barrel 2.62 Marathon. The course starts and finishes at the Egg Harbor Marina, passes through Harbor View Park, and follows a 2.62 miles out and back route down White Cliff Road.
Registration and packet pickup occur at One Barrel Brewing Company in Egg Harbor. On-site registration and packet pickup are scheduled for Friday, November 27 from 6:00 pm to 8:00 pm and Saturday, November 28 from 8:30 am to 9:30 am. Pre-race registration is handled at the taproom.
Registered participants receive a custom One Barrel Run stocking hat with a choice of colors (black, orange, pink, camo, green, first come first served), a One Barrel Brewing Co. can koozie, and a postrun beer. Children are offered hot chocolate or cider instead of beer. Apple cider donuts from Wood Orchard are provided. Prizes are awarded for overall and masters winners, with specified gift certificate amounts for top finishers in male, female, and masters categories. Best dressed awards are judged by celebrity judges including Pete the Penguin.
Practical information notes ample street parking throughout the village and a request that participants not use neighboring business parking lots. Pets are permitted to run but should start at the back of the group; pets are not allowed in the taproom. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
