On Your Bookmark...GO!
On Your Bookmark...GO! is a community running event held at the E.D. Locke Public Library, 5920 Milwaukee St., McFarland, WI, on 09/26/2026. The program includes both an in-person 5K Run/Walk and a virtual 5K option, plus several children focused runs.
Available distances and formats:
- 5K Run Walk, in-person and virtual
- Kids Obstacle Dash, 0.33 miles, ages 2 to 4
- Kids Obstacle Dash with 0.25 mile run, ages 4 and up
Children’s obstacle dashes are untimed and include playful elements such as bubbles, cone patterns, limbo, and other obstacles. Each registered child receives a hat and a medal. Parents may join children in the dashes at no additional cost.
The in-person 5K Run/Walk includes professional timing, a knitted beanie, and a bib for participants. Strollers and dogs are permitted on the course. Virtual 5K participants may run or walk at a location of their choice and may pick up the knitted beanie and bib during packet pick up or after the event at the library.
Registration fees listed in event information are $30.00 for the 5K and $12.00 for the kids dash options. All proceeds support programming at the E.D. Locke Public Library. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
