On the Run Half Marathon
On the Run Half Marathon is a road race scheduled for March 21, 2026 in Old Orchard Beach, Maine. The event is a 13.1 miles course certified by USATF under certificate ME19001BK. The start and finish are at the Brunswick Hotel, and the route follows West Grand Avenue, Ferry Road, Bayview Road, Sea View Road, Pine Point Road, King Street, Avenue 3, Jones Creek Road and East Grand Avenue back to the hotel.
Course features include chip timing, mile markers for miles 1 to 13, 5K and 10K markers, and display clocks at 5K and 10K. Water stations are located at miles 2.5, 5.5, 7.5 and 9.5. All finishers receive a custom medal and every participant receives a custom race bib; the first 100 finishers receive a custom magnet. Long sleeve technical shirts are offered for an additional fee and must be preordered; none are available for purchase on race day.
Race awards include 1st, 2nd and 3rd overall for male and female categories and 1st, 2nd and 3rd in age groups 1 to 19, 20 to 29, 30 to 39, 40 to 49, 50 to 59, 60 to 69 and 70 to 99. Parking on race day is free on 1st Street between Old Orchard Street and Heath Street. The Old Orchard Beach Indoor Track Team assists with intersections and water stations and race management is provided by 5K Sports Race Management.
